When a Group Manager (The one who manages all subgroups/ classes of the school) visits this page, they will see a dashboard that looks something like this:

 

This Teacher is the Group Manager for a group called [Araboo 2]. The Group Manager can manage the courses available, manage groups/classes, teachers etc.

Managing a School

Only Group Managers will have access to this settings view to create and manage Groups/Classes. Others will not be able to see it.

Manage School: Allows you to add and delete Groups.

  • Delete Group: on the Manage Group tab, click the trash can icon to the right of the Group you would like to remove and then confirm your decision in the dialogue box

Add Group: Switch tabs to enter the details necessary to create a new Group.

  1. Click Manage School >Add Group
  2. Enter in the Group name
  3. You can create a new Teacher by entering in their First and Last name, Username, Email and Password, or you can check the ‘Teacher already exists?’ checkbox and select a pre-existing Teacher.
  4. Next select the course(s) you wish to include within the Group and click the arrow to add to the Active Courses box.
  5. Click Save

Email Students

Configure your Emails and send broadcast message to all your Group members (students) within the group.

  • After clicking on Manage School button, click on Email Group button

Click the email icon to the right of a specific Student to email them directly.

 

Manage Courses

This section allows you to see which courses are a part of each Group. You can also add course(s), or remove course(s) from the Group.

To add course(s) to a Group:

  1. Click the course on the left that youd like to add
  2. Click the right arrow to move that course into the Active Courses window
  3. Click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page

To remove course(s) from a Group:

  1. Click the active course(s) on the right that you wish to remove
  2. Click the left arrow to remove the course(s) from the Active Courses window
  3. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page

Manage Teachers

Add or remove Teachers from a Group or add a Teacher as a Student and Group member (this is useful if you want the teacher also to take the courses).

School Report

View the entire School grades through the School Report. The School Manager can view each Group and the average percentage grade for each course, or drill down and see each individual Group member’s grade. Click Export CSV to download the School’s entire report.
